BTYQ-ABH505 series portable combustible gas detector for industrial and commercial purposes (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is a new type of gas detection instrument produced by our company. This detector is manufactured using high-performance gas-sensitive components and microcontroller technology, combined with sophisticated SMT process. It has good repeatability and temperature and humidity characteristics, as well as advantages of long service life and convenient operation. It is applicable to gas pipelines, propane tank filling stations, and environments where oil or gas leaks may occur. When the gas concentration in the environment exceeds the set threshold, it will trigger light and buzzer alarms to provide timely warnings and protect the user’s personal and property safety.

• It features a large range selection of 16-bit high-precision ADC, resulting in finer resolution and higher accuracy.

Operation Instructions:

• To power on the instrument, long press the power button for 3 seconds in a clean air area far away from the test area. Wait for the instrument warm-up countdown to complete. It is important to ensure that there is no combustible gas present on-site to avoid errors in the instrument display. (After the warm-up, the instrument will perform zero point automatic calibration.)
• After the preheating process, the low alarm threshold and high alarm threshold set inside the instrument will be displayed successively.
  On the detection interface, the current concentration value will be displayed with the corresponding unit (PPM or LEL%). When the alarm threshold is exceeded, there will be audible, visual, and vibrational reminders.
• To check the current battery capacity, right-click the button. A full power display will show as “B100” (100%).
• To quickly recalibrate the zero value, long press the right button for 3 seconds without releasing it. This will set the current concentration value to 0.
• To switch between PPM and LEL% units, long press the left button for 3 seconds.
• When the password is correct or saved successfully, there will be a beep. If the password fails or is incorrect, there will also be a beep.
• When the battery level drops below 10%, there will be a low battery reminder sound (a “drip” sound) every 1 minute. When the battery level drops below 5%, the instrument will automatically shut down. Please ensure timely charging.
